Motor Guide xi3 Trolling Motor Install! - Ascend 133x Build Part 4

Thanks for watching! The motor guide xi3 model shown in this video is the entry model for wireless trolling motors. While it is a fantastic motor for the price, there are also better options including saltwater models. But this one was perfect for me.

We originally planned on welding our own motor mount and converting a stern mount trolling motor into a bow one, but we felt for ease of use and less hassle this was the right option. Because we felt having to use a handle extender would be frustrating on the water.
