In Thiruvannamalai, a family of seven, including three children, are feared trapped under a mudslide triggered by a cyclone. The incident occurred in the foothills of VOC Nagar. District Collector Bhaskar Pandian and a rescue team have arrived at the scene. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is preparing for a full-blown rescue operation. The mudslide is a direct fallout of the cyclone, and the situation is described as very scary, with a large boulder also having rolled down from 50 meters above.
