In this video, I guide you through the recent changes in Apple's podcast artwork display for iOS 17. Apple has introduced a number of new features and elements, including widgets and cropping, that use more of your podcast artwork's real estate. This includes the display of your episode artwork in various places like the Now Playing screen, queue, messages, mail, and social media platforms.

I run an experiment using an Apple-provided template in Photoshop to assess how the top UK podcasts' artwork could be affected. Using this overlay, we take a look at how much space on your podcast artwork might be at risk of cropping or being covered by UI elements.
