Review and deep appreciation for "Alice In The Cities", the 1974 masterpiece directed by Wim Wenders, starring the great Rüdiger Vogler and the marvelous Yella Rottlӓnder, along with Lisa Kreuzer and Edda Küchl. This is the first of Wim Wenders' "Road Trilogy" (followed by "Wrong Move" and "Kings Of The Road"). Superb cinematography by Robby Müller and editing by Peter Przygodda, with music by Can. Loosely inspired by Peter Handke's novel "Short Letter, Long Farewell" and Chuck Berry's song "Memphis, Tennessee".
