On October 5th, 2017 I was stopped at the Bridge St. crossing in Willimantic, CT, on my way to an appointment. I managed to get out my cell phone to video the train - and odd assortment of two locomotives, a gondola, and a trailing six axle locomotive (all in the new Genese and Wyoming paint scheme).

I came back the same way some time later, after my appointment, to find the two lead locomotives busy switching. I pulled into the entrance road to the CT Eastern Railroad museum and took some more video and still shots of the action.

The concrete platform with the lights is the remains of the old Amtrak shelter from when they briefly diverted traffic onto this line in the 1990s. Interestingly, it is approximately the same spot New Haven set up a similar concrete platform in 1955 after selling the original Union Station to the town (who ripped it down for parking).
