Today members of environmental protest group Just Stop Oil have painted the walls, floor and departure boards at Heathrow Terminal 5. Two people have been arrested.

And yesterday they blocked departure gates at Gatwick Airport. Holidaymakers were seen stepping over the protestors as they headed on their summer holiday.

Just Stop Oil want to target airports and disrupt the holiday industry as they aim to raise awareness about the fossil fuel economy.
