The solar plexus meditation
connects us to our inner light

so that it vibrates everywhere

and leads us to our designation
and complete fulfillment.

Sit comfortably,
knees at a 90-degree angle,

back upright,

take a few deep breaths.

Feel how with each breath
the body relaxes.

Imagine a wash of yellow light

and focus on the third chakra
located above the navel.

Breathe into it.

Feel how the energy flows in that direction
and activates the center of energy,

an inner focal point
of peace and confidence,

motivation and expanding willpower.

Following Earth and Water
which move downwards,

comes Fire which propels the energy upwards
to fulfill our intention.

Imagine the fire within us burning,
warming and illuminating,

expanding and increasing the inner light.

Our inner light sends rays
throughout our bodies.

We are present in complete harmony
and perfect balance,

we have inner strength

and the ability to fulfill
anything we wish.

We are connected to the higher self,

our aura flows, radiating
and resonating inner power

and awareness of the true power
within us.

In a few moments, we will all utter
the mantra of the third chakra RAM

that conveys peace, tranquility,
love and giving,

understanding that everything we want
is within us.

We have seven chakras, each chakra resonates with a particular sound frequency and each chakra has its own seed mantra, reciting that seed mantra in the musical note that resonates with the chakra's vibrational frequency is the most effective way to balance and open the chakra through meditation.

Ram is the bija (seed sound) mantra of the Manipura (navel or solar plexus) chakra — the source of personal power. The chakras are concentrated centers of energy at locations along the spine. Each has a specific bija mantra that is thought to vibrate with energy that activates and opens its associated chakra.

The Manipura chakra is the third of the seven major chakras and is believed to boost self-confidence, reduce anxiety and control negative impulses. Manipura is associated with transformational power and inner strength, both of which are unleashed when the yogi chants ram.
