Radioactivity (9 of 16) Decay Activity of Carbon-14

Goes over a worked example for calculating the activity of carbon-14 in a 1 gram sample of carbon. Activity is defined as the number of decays per second. It is abbreviated with the symbol A and has the metric unit the Becquerel (Bq). One Becquerel is equal to one decay per second.
