The Großglockner is Austria’s highest mountain (3978m). The peak is usually covered by clouds. The valley below, its lakes and the Pasterze Glacier are often in the shadow of this inspiring mountain providing unending opportunities for photographers to catch the various moods. Walk with Trudy and Susanne to follow the glacier that has been retreating for the last 170 years, with unfolding stunning landscapes as we approach the current ice fields. The areas that were once covered by ice are gradually being recolonised. This video brings to life this recolonization process.
