Album Plasmic Twin Fin Review - The Surfboard Guide

Описание к видео Album Plasmic Twin Fin Review - The Surfboard Guide

After checking out the Twinsman, and a variety of other Album Surfboards, welcome to our review of the Album Plasmic which has been one of the funnest twin fins to ride for all levels of surfers - I have been riding this as a 5'5 x 20 1/2 x 2 1/2 and I think it is around 34L if I had to guess...

I've been lucky enough to surf this board for almost the last 12 months, and been able to surf it across a variety of condition from 4ft pumping barreling beachbreaks, through to 1ft dribble summer rip bowls - and it seems to work in all of them and it works well!

The Plasmic was created with the idea of fitting a lot of foam in a little package. Chunky outline with a fish entry. Instead of a swallow, the diamond tail allows your foot to be set further back to get more drive out of the shorter rail-line. Flat deck profile with a low apex rail, making it a great paddler with easy rail-engagement.
The deep, double-barrel concave generates effortless speed and creates lift off the back foot, while providing grip through your turns. Generally ridden with an upright twin and sized a little shorter and thicker than the Sunstone. We recommend riding it 3-5 liters more than your shortboard.
As per most of our models, the plasmic is versatile and can be stretched to mid-lengths, step-ups and asyms, applying the same concepts.

I rode a variety of fins in the Plasmic, but was lucky enough to check out the Album upright twin by NVS - https://www.surfnvs.com/products/albu...

The Album twin is a well balanced, large twin template, designed for fluid, stylish surfing. These will provide generous amounts of hold on steeper waves while also helping generate speed on smaller softer waves.
These twins will compliment any fish outline. They can also be thrown in hybrid shorties or standard thrusters that carry more width/volume through the tail. These fins are ridiculously fun, and will open up new horizons for those looking to expand their stye.

The Matt Parker designed Album fins are part of our Apex Series lineup. Matt designed these to complement his board designs.

G10 is made by compressing layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin and baking it an autoclave to have the maximum strength of any fiberglass available.Learn more about the NVS Apex Series fins here.
