Lover of New Orleans music Hugh Laurie came to the French Quarter in 2011 to perform with Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas and Tom Jones. This was a live performance for PBS to promote his newest CD Let Them Talk. Not only an accomplished actor (who stared on the hit show House) and comedian but an accomplished musician as well. His heroes are the greats of Jazz and Blues, Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Jerry Lee Lewis among many others.
