nightmares live in my thoughts is literally me writing my way out of a panic attack. life can be so uncertain and for me, it feels like i never know what’s going on. throughout this song, i talk about everything that’s troubling my heart. i talk about my struggle with anxiety, what that looks like for me, and how my mind is oftentimes, home to my most unpleasant thoughts. the goal with this song is to not only shed light on such common reality, but to find the beauty in it.
