Bandsaw Adjustments/Tuning/Modifications - Quintessential Guide (Combo Saw) Adjustments Part 3a (5)

This video is Adjustments Part 3a for the Combination Bandsaw Quintessential Guide video series authored by OFG Garage. In this video, an optional adjustment is described to true up the vertical cutting plane. I describe and install a part made in Modifications Part 2 and make the adjustment. Note that there is more than one way to make this adjustment and I have a video planned (Part 3b) for a simpler method that will be added as a link when completed in the future.

The series provides the information necessary to improve and adjust a Combination Bandsaw. This series is foremost provided to assist those with a saw that has been knocked out of adjustment because the adjustment retaining hardware is inadequate. It goes on to recommend fastener upgrades and then intimately into making the adjustments to make your saw run as well, but likely much better, than new. Plus, the saw will stay in adjustment and improve blade life. All told, it is less than an hour of material. I hope you find it worth your time.
