Surprise Guest after Reagan Speech (Dallas RNC, 1984)

The announcement of this special performance even seemed to be a surprise to President Reagan, after he had just accepted the Republican nomination for his second term in 1984.

And this great American (and lifelong Republican) delivered with his heart and soul, as only he could, and then basked in his love of country and his respect for our President, as the President and First Lady escorted him around the podium, to share the overwhelming appreciation the convention goers had for President and Mrs Reagan and for the great Ray Charles.

I hope this video puts a lump in your throat, and maybe even a tear in your eye, as it did for me.

President Reagan brought America prosperity and pride like no other president of my lifetime.

President Trump is now doing that again, returning prosperity and opportunity to all Americans, rekindling American pride and regaining respect for our Constitutional Republic all over the world.

I hope the 2020 Republican Convention, to renominate President Trump, will provide similar celebratory moments for our country, like these very special few minutes in Dallas 34 years ago.
