Pikmin 3DX – Major exploit: Pikmin cloning (easy setup)

This glitch was found by Luke Black (original video here:    • Pikmin clone glitch (Pikmin 3/deluxe)  ), but I just discovered it today.

This glitch allows you to clone and get up to 100 pikmin of any type from the master onion, as long as you have at least 101 pikmin. Essentially, this glitch works because the game doesn't check the number of pikmin already withdrawn when the onion menu is opened a second time, so you can withdraw those pikmin multiple times. This glitch could be useful for speedruns, although it takes a bit of time to set it up.

Other ways exist to clone pikmin (sunset cloning or cloning using a glitch master onion) but this one is by far the simplest. Thanks Luke for sharing!
