Opening of Unicon and my first competitions

What a great openingceremony of Unicon21 (Unicycle Championships) in Bemidji USA! Loved the danses of the representatives of the Ojibwa-tribe and thoroughly enjoyed the flag parade.

My first three competitions went great. Was the fastest of my age group ungeared in the 10KM, which got me a silver medal overall. Picked up Bronze on the long jump on platform. Had to compete in a tie-break for 2-3-4th place in the Highjump on platform. After a tiring competition I managed to win another 2nd place. Scored PR's in all three disciplines, so I'm very pleased with these results.

Setting a new PR on the 10KM Roadrace was a big goal for me. I was allowed to start in the elite female group, so had lots of competition right up to the finish line. That really pushed me and helped me to shave off close to 30 seconds of my old PR. I'm very happy with my new 27:27 as a personal best.
