Prince Rupert BC

In 2009 the BC Provincial Capital Commission did a series of short history docs about various aspects of BC. With the end of the PCC in March of 2014 it is not clear what will happen to these videos so I thought would post them to ensure they remain online.

Mini-doc on the history of Prince Rupert, on BC's northwest coast. It was founded in 1910 by Charles Melville Hays to be the Pacific terminus of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. It has the deepest ice-free natural harbour in North America.
