2025 Infiniti QX80 Autograph POV night drive, highway drive using ProPILOT 2.1 assist, launch control, 0-60 acceleration, exhaust sound, review.

Thinking about getting a full-size SUV? Names like the Cadillac Escalade, BMW X7, Mercedes GLS, or maybe the Lincoln Navigator probably come to mind. But in case you forgot, Infiniti is still in the game, and for 2025, they've completely redesigned their flagship SUV—the QX80.

Like its predecessors, it’s a body-on-frame (shared with Nissan Patrol or Nissan Armada) construction with double-wishbone suspension at the front and rear. The base trim (called Pure) features coil springs but as you move up (Luxe, Sensory, Autograph trims), air springs with adaptive dampers become standard.

Gone is the 5.7-liter V8 - under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that delivers 450 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The new QX80 has towing capacity of up to 8,500 lbs..

Pricing starts at a little over $84,000 and goes up to around $115,000 for the fully loaded Autograph trim.

Other full size SUVs to consider are a Nissan Armada, Lexus LX 600, Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Toyota Sequoia, Range Rover, Mercedes GLS, GMC Yukon Denali, BMW X7.
