Hailing from the village of Bhaiseda, Rasool Khan moved to Jaisalmer early in his life to earn a living. Name any Rajasthani instrument, Khartal, Morchang, or Dhol, and he will play it for you.

However, for the purpose of this interview, he explains Shehnai, which is regarded as the most auspicious instrument in Rajasthani culture. He says that no ceremonies in their village begin without a Shehnai.
