All of India’s matches will take place in Dubai.
For this the Indian cricket team for the upcoming Asia Cup T20 tournament has been officially announced.
Suryakumar Yadav will captain the squad, while Shubman Gill has been named vice-captain.
The selection was made by the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee.
There were 15 players selected for this tournament.
Openers are Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson, with Shubman Gill also considered a top-order option.
Key middle-order batters include captain Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma.
India has a balanced all-round unit with Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube as pace all-rounders, and Axar Patel offering spin and lower-order batting flexibility.
The explosive Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma are expected to play the finisher roles, especially during the final overs.
Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav are the main spinners.
Fast bowlers include Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana.
With Arshdeep being a left-arm pacer, he is different among others.
