A short motorbike ride out to the Cape Palliser lighthouse. This is a nice ride for anyone to do. It's all on sealed roads except for a few km of gravel right at the end.

I was surprised to see the seals there. There were quite a few of them clambering over the rocks. The youngsters were very active. It would have been good to have a "proper' camera and tripod so that I could pretend to be a wildlife photographer.

I wonder how many people drive past the grave of the Zuleika Crew without even noticing it? There is a long history of shipwrecks around the coast. I find it interesting to dive into the old newspapers to read about what happened.

The video might have been a bit better had I gone all the way up to the lighthouse itself. However, I was slightly constrained by time, and majorly constrained by fitness. Even the drone was struggling. The wind was so strong that the drone went in to emergency landing mode before I'd got much footage.
