March 1st 2012, David Bird added he saw Britt coming up and down his road 5-6 times. Usually only saw im once or twice a week.
Why did it take until January to get the wiretap? We didn’t want to rush it. Plus, his wife were his alibi.
There were cameras at Britt’s that he didn’t install. We took all of what could have recorded anything, but don’t know that we took the cameras.

At some point, you sent Johnny Walker to go talk to him. That was towards the end of his involvement. Dicus was still with TBI, and wasn’t explicitly told not to pursue Britt.
Had already plead out in the Tequila Jones case. Had other charges pending in Federal court. Prosecuting attorney was Beth Boswell.

1:33:00 What got you off the Bobo case? Dichotomy over Clint Bobo. Some people believed Clint was lying. Others believed he perfectly described the abductor. VanHooser decided we were going to perform the full Reid technique to make him lawyer up or confess. He didn’t want to do it.

Next morning, SAIC was interviewing him. Was taken off the case. Resigned within 3 months. Didn’t have any plan to resign from TBI prior to this case.
