सर्वस्य चाहं हृदि
सन्निविष्टो मत्तः
स्मृतिर ज्ञानम् अपोहनं च वेदेश च सर्वैर अहं एव वेद्यो
वेदांत-कृद वेद-विद् एव चाहम्
मैं सभी जीवों के हृदय में विराजमान हूँ और मुझसे ही स्मृति, ज्ञान तथा विस्मृति उत्पन्न होती है। मैं ही सभी वेदों द्वारा जाना जाने वाला हूँ, मैं ही वेदान्त का रचयिता हूँ तथा वेदों के अर्थों को जानने वाला हूँ।
