Plastic Avengers - A Community Climate, Arts, and Action Program about the Long Island Sound

By teaching students about the living resources of the Long Island Sound—as well as the threats to its health due to pollution, plastic debris, and climate change— the program aimed to cultivate a new generation of coastal stewards who will help to stem the flow of litter into the Sound and create more climate resilient communities.

The following are the experiences and results of the program told by the powerful voices of the participants.
