Teeth Grinding, Busy Mouth & Chomping the Bit

It can be very frustrating when a horse constantly fiddles, plays or chomps on the bit OR grind their teeth with the bit in their mouth. People try all sorts of things from changing bits to strapping the horse's mouth shut...but nothing really fixes it.

I have an approach that solves the issues and I do it by understanding that these behaviours are just surface levels symptoms of anxiety and stress.

So I use a holistic approach to solving these issues; however, part of my process is stopping the grinding, chewing, chomping HABIT which is typically what the behaviour becomes.

In this video I show you how I stop this habit. I have to stress that if you do not treat the root cause the behaviour will forever be an issues or you will stop this habit but the horse will develop another!
