The historic Donoho Hotel in Middle Tennessee is completely gone after a fire burnt it to the ground Tuesday morning.
There were no human deaths in the fire, but Red Boiling Spring Police Chief Jeffery Maynard confirms one cat died.
"It's gonna be a complete loss," Maynard tells FOX 17 News of the hotel.
The Donoho Hotel, which was built in 1916, is described as "timeless charm" blended with present-day comfort, according to its website. Weddings often took place at the historic hotel as well, social media users say.
