It's funny to watch a big, tattoo'd, OG looking homie drinking a kid's drink. Well, maybe not so funny if he didn't like the soda and punched me in the head. haha. Jesse said "this better not be some repugnant tasting drink you're trying to punk me with." I'm like, "nooooooo. I don't think it'd be too smart to walk into a tat parlor and start something." yeah...how funny would it be to walk out with "be-otch" tattoo'ed on my forehead?

Ramune is a carbonated soda drink sold in Japan. The bottle is made of glass and the mouth of the uniquely design bottle is sealed with a marble stopper. A tool that is packaged with the bottle is used to "pop" the marble seal to release the soda. Once the marble has been pushed into the neck of the bottle, it rattles around while drinking. It's funny to watch people try to open the bottle for the first time. It's even funnier to see them dribble soda out of the corners of their mouth because the marble makes it a little tricky to drink.

Ramune is popular with gamers, cos-players, asiaphiles (is that even a word?). You can find these drinks at asian specialty stores, downtown chinatown, comic book conventions. I found the drinks at a farmer's market in the middle of the mojave desert of all places.
