THSCC Points Rallycross #7 - 1974 MG B GT @ Yanceyville 8 June 2024

Video's still getting over-exposed even though I set up the exposure to look decent in the pits. Oh well.

Onboard from the #58 MG B GT running in the SU2 (street tires, under 2.4L displacement, 2WD) class at Tar Heel Sports Car Club's Points Rallycross #7 @ Yanceyville. This video has me driving solo.

The 2024 THSCC Rallycross season continued this June in Yanceyville with back-to-back events on Saturday and Sunday. This course is slightly shortened from the original Yanceyville layout, with the starting area sending us immediately down the hill instead of circling first. There were 4 drivers in SU2 this time around and I won the class, 15 seconds ahead of P2 with all clean runs (except for the recce lol), and P12 overall. In order to more closely mirror stage rally, rallycross times are cumulative over the course of the event, as opposed to autocross's use of best lap only.

Run 4 (my fastest): 67.603s
Run 5: 68.983s
