Myfanwy & Eliza - The Rook *Read Description*

Based on the best selling novel by Daniel O'Malley, The Rook tells the story of Myfanwy Thomas, who wakes up with no memory and lots of dead bodies around her. As she tries to figure out what happened to her, she realises that someone wiped her memory and whoever that is, is someone working closely with her.

It's a very interesting story and personally, I prefer the book to the series. The show is quite different from the book, and it takes time to warm up to it, a lot of it is due to the pacing of the story and the Myfanwy's question marked face covering the entire screen every now and then (We get it, she's confused because she can't remember what happened to her, but enough with the repetitive expression!).

Having said that, episode 3 was fantastic. Finally, some action and the story getting a move on and a lot less of Myfanwy's question marked face covering the entire screen.

Anyway, do not watch the show entirely for the Myfanwy and Eliza storyline or for Joely Richardson's stunning self, or for Olivia Munn's beautiful face (although...) or even for Catherine Steadman's gorgeously voice.
