This tile is what dream are made of! Ever wanted to tile your own bathroom floor? That’s what I’m working on right now!

I removed the old flooring and added Schluter Ditra over the subfloor instead of cement board. Highly recommend - it was so much easier to work with!

Then I got started laying this Vivano Nova Dolomite Brass Polished Marble Mosaic tile from Floor & Decor using Schluter AllSet thinset.

I use a clean grout float to help push the tile into the mortar and maintain an even floor and a wet saw to cut individual marble pieces to fill in the gaps. My poor wet saw has seen better days, but he’s still chugging along!

Next up, we seal and grout before adding in all our trim! Would you go light so it flows or darker for the grout so you can still see those lines??
