Perspective of life - Dr Shafique nay kaisay badla is about how my perspective on life and research was transformed by the guidance of my respected teacher Dr. Muhammad Shafique Nawaz and other remarkable educators from The University of the Punjab and The University of Karachi.
Through deep and intellectually challenging assignments on Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s groundbreaking work The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam, Dr. Shafique Nawaz taught me the art of unbiased research—how to approach a person, event, nation, or belief system with fairness, historical references, and without personal or cultural bias.
He introduced me to profound thinkers like Hans-Georg Gadamer and Michel Foucault, whose theories of research, particularly hermeneutics, reshaped my understanding of academic research methodology and critical thinking.
