We had a mini adventure in Valerie the Volvo seaching for a German village in the military training ground near Sennybridge (SENTA) just north of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. Our morning attempt was fruitless so we had lunch in the market town of Llandovery, a name used by the Union-Castle Shipping Company for its ship the SS Llandovery Castle on which I sialed with my Mother, Brother and Sister when I was 6 years old. We were going to meet up with my Father in Mombasa.
After lunch we struck lucky and met a person who, rightly otr wrongly, showed us exactly where the village is. So we went where authorised persons only are allowed and found the village.
