Line 4 Serie 3000 trip from Diego de León to Argüelles @ Metro de Madrid, Spain

In todays video we will be riding a Serie 3000 train from Diego de León in L4. The Serie 3000 is the "latest" model of train for the "galibo estrecho" lines in Metro de Madrid (L1,2,3,4,5,R). These trains were built to replace the old Serie 2000 trains (which are still in circulation in lines 1 and 5). The Serie 3000 trains are all equipped with open-gangway design as well as air conditioning and accessible-friendly features (e.g.: The doors in the first carriage of the train will always open automatically, with no need to press the button to actionate them. These will also emit a continuos alternating beeping sound for blind people to hear, in order to bord the train). The Serie 3000 were revolutionary trains and have really nice design in general.

Serie 3000 trains in L4 are built only to run in L4. That is why you can only see L4 diagrams above the train doors. They cannot run in L2 (for example) due to L2 needing longer open-gangways (more pronounced curves).

I have seen a strange ocurrance in some of L4 trains. The annocuments on some trains (sometimes) only announce the next station (Eg: "Proxima estación: San Bernardo . . . ) without the conections or if it is a curved platform station. At the line terminus, there is a long silence before saying "Final de trayecto" - Eg: "Próxima estación: Argüelles . . . . . . . - Final de Trayecto". Strange bug that only happens sometimes.

The animation at the bottom and the station display animations were made entirely by me (the font, the backpannel...).
