Hiking California's Mt. Baldy in the Snow

Mt. Baldy is the tallest mountain in the Los Angeles area reaching 10,064 feet. Join Alice as she hikes to the peak of this mountain after a fresh snowfall. One of the most popular hikes in SoCal for those training for bigger hikes, Mt. Baldy AKA Mount San Antonio is a challenging 10 mile RT hike with more than 3,000 feet of elevation gain. In the winter months it is important to be properly equipped with crampons, hiking poles and ice picks for those hiking the Baldy Bowl.
Did you know there is also a ski area, lodge and chairlift that hikers, and skiers can enjoy year round. ✈
