This Collings OM-2H Varnish Deep Body Custom is based on the classic 14-fret Orchestra Model guitars that have been beloved by guitar players for over 80 years. As with all Collings, this OM-2H is built from the finest handpicked and hand-voiced tonewoods. This particular model comes with a custom tung oil varnish finish body that is also deeper than Collings' regular OMs. The varnished body is one of Collings' finest upgrades, and it allows the guitar to breathe and sound “broken in”. right away. This creates a big, complex, and open tone, giving the guitar unbelievable sensitivity and power.
