A rare 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III, one of 727 Phantom III's built between 1936 and 1939, leaving the 2018 San Marino Motor Classic at Lacy Park and driving into a transporter. This example was originally fitted with a limousine body by Atcherley. In 1946, the body was replaced by a bespoke Freestone & Webb Sedanca de Ville body commissioned by owner and Rolls-Royce collector John Gaul. Painted in burgundy with various parts finished in polished copper and cane work on the rear doors and quarter sections, this car was commonly known as Gaul's "Copper Kettle". It received an extensive restoration which was completed in 2008 and has won numerous awards including First in Class at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
