latak mukut sir matak bhrikuti var, chatak tilak balihar
(I offer myself on his bent peacock feathered crown, the arch of his eyebrows and the shine of his tilak)

kandh peet pat lakuti lapati pat, kar murali rijhavar
(His shoulders are adorned with a beautiful yellow shawl and he has a 'lakuti' (staff) wrapped between the shawl. His hands carry the flute, which captivates everyone)

gola kapolani ati mridu bolani, mohat sab braj naar
(He has beautiful round cheeks and his style of speaking is extremely attractive. He enchants the hearts of all the gopis)

pyari pyari gati matvari, hans lajavan haar
