LIGHTS CAMERA CULTUREDALE 2024: THE PLACE I LOVE

'Ice Cream Daydream'
Music composed by Year 4 students from Calder Primary School.

For six months the Lights Camera Score team, in conjunction with the English Chamber Orchestra, delivered eight primary school projects as part of the CultureDale initiative. The films for this project were developed around the theme of, 'The Place I Love'.

Pupils participating on the project were able to perform their composition alongside members of the English Chamber Orchestra at a very special concert on 9th June 2024 at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax. Songs were a bit feature at the end of each of the student stories and we are delighted to present eight songs here accompanied by animated extracts from the films.

Lights Camera Score in Calderdale was supported by the Three Stones Media, English Chamber Orchestra, the D’Orly Carte Charitable Trust with Lottery Funding from Arts Council England.
