First Nikon N60 Film Photographs

Описание к видео First Nikon N60 Film Photographs

I'd always been interested in film photography, in fact, when we went to Traverse City back in 2018 I bought a couple of disposable film cameras. Those photos didn't really turn out at all. Initially I had wanted to buy a legit film camera and some rolls of film but I couldn't find anything before we left. This time I was able to pick up a Nikon N60 for a good price at Westborn Camera in Dearborn. They are a great resource for used equipment and they even through in a roll of expired film for free. The expired film turned out pretty great I thought so don't be afraid of that.

At the local Wal Mart I purchased 3 rolls of Fuji Superia 400 film for $22. Then I had the film developed at a place called Express Camera in Livonia, Michigan. We dropped off the three rolls of film and had dinner at an Indian Restaurant next door. When we finished eating I walked over to discover that they were done with everything and even had my prints ready. I can't speak more highly of them.

Most of the photographs that you see here are from Lewiston, MI and the surrounding area, with some of the photos being from Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. I've been exploring photography a lot more recently and am by no means a professional. I do use mirrorless cameras to shoot video for a living so I know my way around a camera a little bit more than the average person. I like that the Nikon N60 has a lot of different automatic modes. It leaves less room for error but more room for mechanical failure. So far it's been good for me. I'm definitely going to keep exploring the medium.
