First year perennials in the flower field

Описание к видео First year perennials in the flower field

This year we started a lot of perennial plants from seed and plugs, and this is a little gander at how some of them are doing. Plus a quick look at today’s flower harvest for the roadside stand this weekend.
Overall I’m pretty pleased with how plants are filling in, and I’m giddy to see how it all looks next year! I’d like to keep adding more perennials and actually uncover the varieties that are being smothered in weeds. One day at a time 😂
A few plants featured are sedum, lavender, eryngium, echinops, liatris, dahlias…
We live and grow in Yakima County in south central Washington state, zone 6b/7a.
