Professor Peter Swan discusses the Centre for Independent Studies’ new paper labelled ‘The Rise of Activist Corporations: How Activism Agendas Subsumed Shareholder Primacy’.

“I noticed companies were going along paths which are quite different from what their shareholders would have wanted,” Mr Swan told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“This I believe was because Independent directors now dominate the boards of … just about every other Australian company.”
