The first thing to do is look on the ground where the fall occurred. What made you fall? Next, look around to see if there are any witnesses to the accident. Another thing to do immediately is to take photos of the scene.

After you make the initial assessment of the scene of the accident, you should inform the manager on duty. If the manager or store employee creates an incident report, make sure you obtain a copy.

After completing the necessary items above, you should see your doctor immediately after leaving the store. Remember to follow all the instructions you receive from the physician and follow up as necessary. Watch the video to learn more.
