Hey guys, shooting at night requires a steady hand with the longer shutter speeds needed. The Scene Intelligent Auto mode in the #CanonEOSR7 features an automatic exposure mode Handheld Night Scene - It takes 4 consecutive images using the electronic shutter and composites them for a relatively sharp, brighter than might be expected JPEG - as there are 4 exposures in your shot you achieve the sun total of the light gathered during those 4 exposures.

Is this a gimmick or a go to problem solver... As far as I can tell I will may actually never use this again because the photos I could shoot in Manual exposure mode, to me, were better, and allowed for more control over the aperture and shutter speeds.
