Please welcome my newest "they haven't played together in any scene but aren't they a perfect couple" obsession. Unfortunately all the films with these actors obviously come in a really poor quality (because for now only a few Soviet films have been properly restored, and the necessary ones aren't the case), yet I love their acting so much - and oh, we could have had it all, they played Ivan Shuvalov and Elizabeth of Russia in a TV series about Lomonosov, but the scenarists didn't think to give the viewers any scene about Shuvalov's interaction with his empress X_X

I'm talking about Dmitri Pisarenko and Natalya Sayko (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0685425 / http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0756956 IMDB filmographies are far from complete, though). It all started with my unintentional rewatch of Tsar Ivan Groznyy - I have absolutely no good feelings towards Fyodor Basmanov as a character, yet I adore Pisarenko's acting and style in this role (I'll write a little more about that in a couple of weeks, when I'll upload a vid with Basmanov, promise); then I rewatched some parts of Mikhaylo Lomonosov and suddenly realized I'm eager to ship Ivan and Elizaveta (never thought about it before, tbh). Then this wonderful folk song with enormous amount of fluff in its lyrics and equal amount of darkwave vibes in its music came upon me, and there was this part about the wreath of blue flowers, and who could not like the scene with Basmanov in his wreath of blue flowers... well, you get it, I needed a fanvideo with this song.

That's how I realized Pisarenko's Basmanov looked just like my perfect Ivan Tsarevich.
The rest was predictable, and I only regret that the roles of these actors in the proper setting were quite small, so there's not much footage to use anyway.
No sea tsars and frog tsarevnas; I have some headcanons for my version of Vasilisa, but it doesn't exactly matter since this vid is almost pure aesthetic, no specific plot included.
