94.9 KLTY 2016 Christmas Wish - Sherman Firefighter Family

December 23, 2016 (Whitewright, Texas) -- 94.9 KLTY Christmas Wish and Tom Kidd of Structured Foundation Repair made a Christmas blessing happen for a local family.
94.9 KLTY received a Christmas Wish for Holly and Aaron Green from a co-worker at Globe Life. The young Sherman Fire Fighter and his wife were doing their best to renovate a very small and broken down home when they received news that Holly had breast cancer. With three children to care for, work stopped on the house and bills began to pile up. The house needed work and the money to fund the needed repairs. So Christmas Wish reached out to a very special partner, Tom Kidd of Structured Foundation, and worked together to make a miracle happen.
Together, $16,000 worth of home repairs and help for bills plus an additional $4000 for gifts, a well-stocked pantry and furniture for the family was provided. The Sherman Fire Department along with 35 co-workers from Globe Life turned out to bless the family. School teachers and counselors from the Whitewright ISD also joined the family to celebrate the Christmas Wish. Chick-fil-A McKinney graciously provided lunch for everyone and 94.9 KLTY’s Frank Reed was present to grant the wish.
