*IMPORTANT NOTE*
In this video I claim that the Shattered Dimensions game was the origins of the Spider-Verse concept, and that is not accurate. The concept of a Spider-Man multiverse actually goes back at least as far as the 90's Spider-Man animated series.
This was a significant oversight in my research and I apologize. I try to do everything I can to make A Brief History a reliable source of information no matter the topic. And this kind of inaccuracy is something I do not want to let happen again.

The past few years have been unusually great for Marvel's Spiderman, haven't they? Between Spiderman Homecoming, Spiderman PS4, and appearances in other various MCU films, Spiderman has kinda become the only superhero that matters. And that status was cemented by last year's hit animated film, "Spiderman Into The Spider Verse."
