Here is what I would choose if I was just getting started building bow strings I like the Proshop package with heavy wide swinging 4 post. With this package you are not limited on the type of strings you can make. Adding the tensioner will just make a better string easier. Every Proshop in the world needs a stretcher/twister to make strings or repair servings under tension. We have less expensive options but this is what I would choose.
