JOHN RANSON - THIS MODEL IS NOW 18 YRS OLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Model is a Tsetse Mosquito - signed by the pilot who flew it and damaged U960 submarine in March 1944 with the Molins 6lb cannon.

The model was scaled up from 1/8th scale to 1/7th scale form the Brian Taylor plan making it 93" wingspan.
It runs on 8s total 5Ah lipos driving 20" x 13" props max 4,500rpm.
First built in 2003 and upgraded in 2010 with new scratch built retracts, Benedini sound lipos and AXI motors.

john told me that the sub fired back and hit the mossy with canon fire,
after the war the mossy pilot actually met the sub gunner that hit him back,
they became good friends !
