Ingredients:
Urad dal (urdu bele) - 1/2 cup (soak 3-4 hours)
Water for grinding - 1/4 cup (add gradually)
Curry leaves - 1 tsp, chopped
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, finely chopped
Green chilly - 1, finely chopped
Ginger - 1 tsp, finely chopped
Fresh coconut - 1.5 tbsp, finely chopped
Salt - 3/4 tsp, as per the taste
Pinch of hing (asafoetida)
Pinch of baking soda
Oil for deep frying
