After a quick visit to the Bixby Knolls National Park in the previous video, I round out my day in Long Beach, California with a couple more stops. First I visit Rancho Los Cerritos, a lovely free activity that’s part museum and part botanical garden. I spotted a ton of plants there, and I’ll list them all below. I also found a fruit grove with lemon, orange, white sapote, cherimoya. My favorite find of the day was a rose apple tree! Syzygium jambos. After Rancho Los Cerritos I drove past Ferris Bueller’s house (and also Donnie Darko's house without realizing it!) to my final stop of the day, the Dominguez Gap Wetlands. I parked in the neighborhood to the south of the wetlands on Del Mar Ave. After a short walk past some familiar plants that also will be listed below, the wetlands appeared! Thanks for watching!
